Looking ahead to a better future in which all women are allowed to drive, the girl in the illustration is saying goodbye to the past and moving on forward.

I like the contrast between the lighter, aesthetically pleasing illustration with the more serious issue of woman’s rights. It lightens up the issue without it imposing too much on the reader
