Color Comp for a Pop Up Halloween Card!
This is a color comp for a Halloween card that I’m making in Pop Up Books! The image on the left will be the front of the card. (There’s an eyeball there instead of a peephole, ha ha). The wider image on the right will be the inside of the card, with the ghosts in the foreground popping out. Imagine if you will confetti streaming in the air, that will be made by the coil pop up mechanism. Hooray ghost part over here!
Singin’ in the Rain Poster
First finished project of the year, with my choice of theater production I had to go with the classic “Singin’ in the Rain”. Tried to capture the whimsicality of the story! (and this scene).

First thing I’ve finished in a while, tablet has just been restored to full health! Just a warm up, hoping to start work on my book soon enough!

I haven’t painted in quite some time…! I’ve started a bad habit this summer so far, and am trying hard to break it. This is the first thing I’ve painted so far, really. So here it is, a thank you card! (Chickens are fun).

Here is one of four stamps that I have been working on, the Barn Owl. Done completely in photoshop. I didn’t know painting an owl was going to be so fun!
Start of a Summer Project
This is a potential start to a summer project! It’s about my hiccups (the little fuzzy things). It’s about accepting quirks about yourself and taking them with you wherever you go. I might like where this technique is going!

Well, it took some time, but I finally got around to finishing this piece up!
Out of Place
Here is an in progress image of a project I am working on! The prompt was “Out of Place”. (I just felt like painting a bayou that day…and monsters). The little boy is lost in a different world, trying to stay low key under the eyes of the monsters that inhabit the bayou.
