Sketch for an upcoming project. Our assignment was to come up with an idea for a mural. I, of course, wanted to go with a more kid friendly approach and what better way to teach kids about Rochester’s great biking community than with animals on bikes??
Excited to create this piece! (Unfortunately not actually creating a real mural)
The series is all done! Hooray. Now finally, moving on! (Had fun with this tighter style though).
Redesign for John Green’s The Fault in our Stars. Painted in Photoshop, last in the series.
Redesigned book cover for John Green’s Looking for Alaska. Painted in Photoshop, second in the series. This is Takumi, the Colonel, Pudge, and Alaska (from the left).
It’s the final painting for the pop up card I’m constructing! It’s a stitch, but the door is going the be the front of the card, while the inside will be a glimpse of the ghosts’ fun halloween party! Painted with gouache, and cleaned up a teeny bit in Photoshop. Final images to follow soon!
I posted a color comp a few weeks ago for this card that I’m currently working on. But this is closer to what the inside is going to look like. Final painting should be done by the end of this weekend!
The first character in my other line up. This time for a redesign of John Green’s book Looking for Alaska. This is Alaska (the books on her head are not finished) and it is a work in progress.
Finished version to come, and another book cover to follow as well. (The Fault in our Stars also by John Green).
Almost finished book cover design for An Abundance of Katherines by John Green.
Two more to come.
A work in progress, a book cover for John Green’s book An Abundance of Katherines. Working very different than I usually do, it’s more time consuming but I am liking it so far.
More to come on this series of book covers. (It’s gonna be a long next few days).
